I buy most of my music through iTunes as Plus versions at a higher bit rate if I can. In the past year I've only purchased maybe ten CDs where I can't get them online. I also haunt www.munckmusic.com. where I can buy music as either 256K bit rate, lossless FLAC or CD and I buy a lot of DVDs from overseas as box sets or concerts/ docos.
Here is the music I've bought since the first of 2008, to be updated as we go through the year. It's in backwards order from July 10 to January 1 and is about 225 albums or EPs. Funny enough, it started with Duke Robillard January 1 and ended with him July 10. Letting your music choices out into the world can lead to a lot of criticism (there is no Australian music here for example), a lot of jazz, blues, Southern Rock and guitar based music, not much hip and happening in a youth sense.
This isn't a boast, it's what I choose to buy as I choose to get no music for free. Music is central to my life.
